August 5: Afternoon show at LIVE! On Elgin, opening for Double Experience, also featuring Calvin McCormick. This is a fun show in honour of the anniversary of the Mars rover Curiosity, and it’s going to be like a big birthday party with cake and surprises. Proceeds of the show go to the Canadian Museum of Science and Tech’s Exploratek Connect program, which promotes STEAM in underserved communities. August 12: Another afternoon charity show, this time to fundraise for ovarian cancer research. The show, titled She’s Listening, features me along with other female singer-songwriters such as Kristine St-Pierre, Karen Keskinen, and Laura Gagnon. Set at Stray Dog Brewing Company, with pizza! August 31: Pub night at James Street Pub, with three sets of rock and country covers. I’ll be joined by Dave Cutler for a fun duo show. Starts 10p.m.
